Moon Mountain Lodge offers a casual wedding venue nestled off in the woods. The owner and founder, Paul George, is a master landscape architect who has used his creativity to develop a magical spot for your celebration.
At the heart of the property, the Cozy Cabin is the perfect place for the gals to get ready for the big day. This comfy one-bedroom cabin has a sitting room, a small kitchen and full bath. Later in the day it becomes your honeymoon suite.
Across from the cabin is the Lodge. This multi-use building has a prep kitchen and tables for your use. The large central room is primarily used for your buffet and desert. Upstairs is an apartment where the guys get ready and relax.
The central lawn area, surrounded by gardens splashed with color, is perfect for eating, drinking and dancing. A covered stage, dance floor and a colorful bar area round out the amenities.
At the end of the night, there are plenty of quiet camping spots for your guests. We always provide coffee in the morning as our way of saying thanks for spending the night.

What We Provide
Moon Mountain Lodge has been developed with all the necessary pieces and flexibility so that you can create the wedding celebration of your dreams. Our typical wedding weekend at Moon Mountain is a late Friday afternoon initial drop-off/rehearsal. It is perfectly fine if a small number of guests want to camp at the property Friday night. Saturday morning is your last minute personalization of the wedding space. We have plenty of ladders for your use to decorate and a number of extra tables if needed for gifts or cake. As your guests arrive, our staff welcomes each person and helps with parking. Our staff makes sure everything moves smoothly and everyone has what they need. Sunday morning we have coffee for your camping guests and there is a collaborative effort to clean-up and prep the tables and chairs for pick-up. Moon Mountain also takes care of garbage and recycling
We can guide you to trusted local companies for any professional catering needs you may have. Mobile food vendors and simple pot-luck style meals are also popular at Moon Mountain Lodge. Pacific Canopy in Burlington is a great company to order your tables, chairs, linen and any other items that will make your celebration complete.
We can also recommend some trusted Event Planners as well as licensed bartenders who have helped couples organize their celebration and help with details.
